  • oh, I guess I willjsut take some time to read through the comments, thanks, and I am sincerely sorry for the loss of a great friend

  • Thank you. You are more than welcome to send a message to me, josmom9407, or isisuf if you have any questions or comments. You probably would have loved her too :)

  • I am sorry to be asking all of these questions, I do not mean to be intruding on your pain/loss it just seems like she was an amazing girl, that I wish I had known..

  • Honestly, it's okay. She touched many lives in very shorts amount of time. I only knew her for 8 months before she passed but it felt like I lost a best friend. There are comments from her mother a few below these explaining her accident and why she was in a wheelchair.

  • oh goodness, how old was she when she passed? Were you and the others involved in the accident ok as well?

  • She was 20 years old. Her mom and grandma were part of the accident and they only suffered minor injuries compared to Jojo.

  • josmom9407,

Jordan is a beautiful young woman. I'm so sorry for your loss. You have my sympathies.

  • Never underestimate how much Jo's online friends meant to her. We were a huge part of her life. As you probably know, Jo had been in an extremely serious car accident years ago leaving her with some long term ailments, including circulatory problems. It was complications from those injuries that she died from when her bypass failed again. Despite several attempts at surgery, her body just wasn't strong enough to keep going.

  • Leisa, I am very sorry. It's not the same, but I landed in a wheelchair 30 years ago and I lost my brother in 2002, so I know what grief is, somewhat.

What I want to say is: please let Jordan teach you to embrace life again. It is what apparantly she did and what she wants you to do. It is possible to mourn and feel pain and yet be grateful for the love and beauty in life. And for the joy she gave you.

All our lives are short. Jordan's life was worth living, and so is yours.

    God bless.

  • It's weird how I feel like I knew her so well even though I only met her online...

  • oh, why was she in a wheelchair to begin with?
