Madcatz Cyborg R.A.T 5 review

A quick review and demonstration of the Cyborg RAT 5 mouse, by Madcatz.
I also demo the software used for setting macros, mouse sensitivity and setting mouse options.

Comparison
RAT 3 - 3200 dpi, all plastic.
RAT 5 - 4000 dpi, aluminum parts, thumb scroll wheel, adjustable back plate, precision aiming button, adjustable weights.
RAT 7 - 5600 dpi, Interchangeable backplate, little finger/pinky rest, adjustable thumb rest, one extra weight
RAT 9 - Wireless version of RAT 7.

@RagingPheonix No. All three of my RATs were faulty when I bought them so I got a Logitech G700 instead.

I'm finding it very hard to find a mouse i really enjoy. i want something comfy and quick for FPS but with at least a few extra macro buttons (i hate having to move my hand from WASD for anything). Currently I'm using a logit g700, which has some very handy buttons down the left hand side, but i am really aching for something a little more gamer-y with a better feel and preferably a sniper button. am currently having trouble choosing between the rat 5 or the corsair m60 or m90.

@welshmouse The RAT series are the only mice I know of which have the precision aim feature. You could have a look at the Cyborg MMO 7. It's basically a RAT 7 with more buttons.

@skaterciaran RAT 7. You cannot take the palm rests off the RAT 5, but you can slide it back and forward.

@endrizo I did that but, like I said in the comment, the ST Proframming software does not look like what it does in all the screenshots and when I load it it says "no controllers found"
