Such lovely music - meaningful, romantic...making you want to sing - dance, both...and be held.  I miss this kind of music terribly, that leaves you in 'a cloud' thinking/feeling and remembering ! I hope to discover "Lost Up Here In the Stars" my other favorite....this is wonderful !

It's impossible to have a favorite song..But if I did "Speak Low' might be it.
And to have Kurt Weill singing it!
I love Ute Lemper singing this song on her Kurt Weill CD.

Oh yes - he does sound so very German probably because he was indeed a German named Kurt Weill - this is a rare recording of his voice & Charlie Haden laid his track over the original Weill piano/vocal track....
