The dancers can't actually be Kurt Weill and Lotte Lenja but they are dead ringers!

Such lovely music - meaningful, romantic...making you want to sing - dance, both...and be held.  I miss this kind of music terribly, that leaves you in 'a cloud' thinking/feeling and remembering ! I hope to discover "Lost Up Here In the Stars" my other favorite....this is wonderful !

Oh yes - he does sound so very German probably because he was indeed a German named Kurt Weill - this is a rare recording of his voice & Charlie Haden laid his track over the original Weill piano/vocal track....

amazing, i had know idea that this is "his master's voice" maybe because i didn't see the video but just listened to it :) great!

Amzaingly thrilling... The CD "septmber songs" of Weill songs performed by various artists including this gem - is a must...
