or if u dont hav the optical output u can hook to a surround sound tht has the rca 's and use tht for sound but use hdmi for video

use an AV audio cable and connect your ps3 to your surround sound reciever works for me!

hey i use a sorround sound too but i get the sound from the actual tv not directly from the ps3! how do i get sound from ps3 to the surround sound? (i use HDMI)

digital out on the ps3 to digital in on surround, so you will need a digital audio lead, & yes games will be in surround go figure :)
