@IIMoses740II yeah, there should have been more explanation about how they got past light years of surveillance. there may be more games in the works or perhaps when they finally make a movie it will clear up some issues. you might find some details in the novels.
- The story doesn't explain some important details. How did a Covenant force sneak onto Reach, the largest military outpost of the UNSC?
- Forge World was the biggest joke of the game; with only a small island, a valley, & a cliff edge, it was hardly colossal
Multiplayer & Firefight are impressive but that's about it for me.
Anyways bro, I know you said you didn't care much for multiplayer, if you ever get into it, it'd be nice to have another Christian gamer on the list :D
- The setting wasn't taken advantage of; this was set on Reach for goodness sakes! There were so many back stories that could've been explored(such as explaining how Buck & Dare's ODST team escaped Reach)yet all we got was one mission about the Pillar of Autumn
- The missions didn't seem to connect or pull you into the story until the ending two; they almost seemed random in accordance to plot development.
- Forge has some striking new features but with a much smaller selection in objects.
While I won't say I think Reach was a poor game, the hype didn't seem justified.
- While the AI can be smart at times, they seem to be more buggy than in H3 or ODST; I've had instances where Brutes will just stand still while I beat them down or my AI driver will ram a ghost & they'll both just push against each other
- Most of the characters weren't likeable; Bungie gave them faces & a personality but didn't allow for much screen time, unlike Halo CE, so you wouldn't care when they died
