Here is a quick and easy solution to removing the masking tape after your Herculiner or other Bedliner has dried. The finish is just as good as any other procedure without the use of a knife. There is no right solution, this method just worked very well for me and saved a lot of time.

  • At my place of work I instal Velox Brand bed liners and what we do is go along all trim lines with some fiber tape. After we finish spraying we use the fiber or wire tape to make nice edges the tape itself is alittle expensive around 30 dollars a roll but just thought i would tell you a way another person does it... looks great man good job

  • @SixxxString29 Hey man thanks for the comment. I don't always like listening to the instructions hahaha. I will tell others to use wire tape in the future.

  • How do you plan on hiding those wires on the floor?

  • @eastcoastsurfer86 I don't planning on hiding them. I will just cover them with wire loom.

  • @Shadowedbyevil I appreciate your opinion. Thanks for watching.

My coat was definitely not dry after one hour. Regardless of this, you don't seem to understand that there are several variables that could make your experience different than mine (Interior/Extrerior, Ambient Temperature, Sun Exposure, Number of Coats, etc.) My video shows an alternate method that produces results right in front of the audience. Instead of posting things on videos like you know everything. Make your own video that teaches something. Have a nice day :)

  • good idea. thanks

  • @2fastinthepast I would expect more from an owner. You make yourself sound very experienced. Although, you make the naive mistake of generalizing people who have done something improperly and those who do a lot of prep work. I do not disagree with you that spraying is better method, but it comes at a cost. Ill be sure to send people to Raptoroneway for your great product knowledge!

  • @QuattroStig Time and time again we have guys who "did it for 100 bucks" asking us to remove this crap and spray a real liner.......worlds apart. I appreciate your concern but I am the owner and don't do the work myself and I get paid very well thanks.

  • @2fastinthepast Sounds like a fun job. I still have the truck and love driving it. It's in another state so I'd rather have someone else enjoy it full time. I understand your concern but I did not install this without first seeing it in other trucks(which had it for several years). In addition, it's on the interior and will outlast the ugly carpet that was originally in the truck. You should get paid to be a troll you might make more doing that than at the shop you are working at.

  • We charge 80.00 an hour to remove than crap. Never use this product if you like your vehicle. It will look like garbage in no time. Like he said he did this to a truck 4 sale not to keep.

  • @QuattroStig - able to do all that with 1 kit?
