I downloaded the Linux but the problem is that I need a keyboard, mouse and a new Hard Disk for my PS3. I'm almost out of space.

im pretty sure that any keyboard and mouse will work and as for the HDD in your ps3 just buy a new HDD(2.5'') and your good to go

yes, installing YDL doesnt prevent you from playing ps3 games, it makes a diferent partition in the HDD so u can have both OSs working in one harddrive(not at the same time)

the ps3 doesn't have cores, the cell has units called SPE's which are not cores at all, cores run in parallel and have cache built into the core, the SPE's do not, the PPE is close to a core, but only close. this guy sounds like he needs to take some classes on hardware.

@ChoppstickzEMS it does use all the processors, even the psone classics do. its just the optimization of the code that factors on what the cell broadband engine can do.

@g2g6599 Lawl out run a computer any day not saying its not a game console but saying that it will outrun a computer any day is laughable its like saying a clown car will out run a dragster just because someone put a bigger engine in it, PS3 and Xbox360 when they came out where good compared to computers but months after they came out there was better video cards and what not and now for a little over $100 and you got a video card that beats the gaming power of PS3 and 360.

@megagamer1996 you dont.. when you install linux on ps3 it like an program on your application.. You can just go to your hard drive on your regular ps3
