@swellen1257 I think Tabata is a short easy form of the more intense Interval circut training that can last 12, 15 or 20 minutes and have 6,7, or 8 different excersises. Now that's burning fat.

Tabata training is extremely high intensity intervals. This is not Tabata training.

@TicoToni13 20secs on 10secs is the ideal tabata timing unless you are doing sprints then its 30secs on 30secs off. That applys to the pool too, 30secs on 30secs treading water. That I cant recommend highly enough.

Hi Scott, how essential is the 20 sec - 10 sec ratio to the effectiveness of the exercises? I use an Ironman watch with a timer but I can't set alternating periods. I therefore do either 20 sec - 20 sec sets, or 15 sec - 15 sec sets. Thx!
