The "mass strike" was evident in polls as early as June or July, was seen on the streets in tax day protests in April, and was vocalized even earlier by the "rant of the year" from Rick Santelli. August was not the beginning of the mass strike. August was just when the mass strike was finally able to confront their out-of-touch representatives in Washington... and when the national media finally paid attention to what was bubbling beneath the surface for many months before.

I understand your position but unfortunately if you will only support an independent chances are you risk throwing your vote away. It is so hard for an independent to get elected as President. The elite have made it this way.
