Mr. Assad presides over an impoverished, hateful regime that represses its own citizens and acts as junior errand boy for Iran and Hezbollah. Blaming Israel is the Syrian way to take attention off of their punishing dictatorship and rule of the people of the good people of Syria.

I have to correct you, Russia was organizing genocide since XIX Century! Russia was always trying to make empire, and if you don't like it - DIE! War in Georgia, changing presidents in Ukraine and Kirghistan, Poland and Uzbekistan, trying to change presidents in Georgia and even Belarus - this is enough to realize - Russia is a danger to the world. Russia is back with the positive way? You gotta be kiddn')))) Russian authorities poisoned many journalists and their "oppositioners". KGB (which has name of FSB now) has all the power, Russia supports HAMAS and Iran, Russia pulls all ex-Soviet republics back, Russia don't hesitate to start a war - Georgia, Kirghistan, Baltic republics... What else do you need to realize that Russia is looking for WWIII? Oh, almost forgot! How about terrorist' camps near Moscow?

We are suffering from the same malady Russia was before their collapse via Blackwater and improperly used armed services. Russia was a total wreck shrouded by a military facade. The richest getting richer and everything else going in the tank. America has been on the same path since Russia collapsed. Those who don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it.

Great video; nice analysis, probably exactly right. Russia is likely to become a big player economically, probably to the chagrin of many. China is going to do big things too. This is a HUGE step for Russia. America should take notes; it must do some decisive and balanced things in the Middle East or be prepared to be left in the dust economically, which is just a precursor for everything else.
