I never really knew about him until I saw the Naked Civil Servent. Now I am finding out more about him. And that he stood up for what he believed in and wanted just to live and be himself. Quentin has just got another admirer :) R.I.P

lyou "can not stand' negativity and yet you have a deep negativity to crisp... ? sounds to me like you live in a world of illusions and it's reality you can not stand.... your arguments are emotive and frankly, very feeble. i would say you're response to crisp is pyschlogical in nature and so this chat won't get us very far... this correspondence is now closed.

@jradetzky This guy is absolutly genius!

@WorkingClassToryScum - As you know absolutely nothing about me, you should reserve your comments to things you know about. Which doesn't sound like much in your case!

Tumors are often comprised of/composed of no more than 10% malignant (cancerous) cells. The tumor is only a symptom. Malignant cells are electrostatically-charged negative, as is the immune system, therefore they repeal one another. Tumorous masses are not always dangerous, nor is it always wise to surgically remove them.

@bgibb101 well said! It amazes me that people like Quentin Crisp are respected for ... what exactly? I stand up for myself every single day but I don't have awards of world famous recognition for it. Do you, Steven? Coz, more power to you if you do! :)

@jradetzky Yes ....... but fantastically so. Not just your run of the mill. He was more of a man and human being than most people I have ever known in my life.

thank you so much for your comments, I began to know Quentin Crisp in 1978, when he wrote a 'blurb' for my first book. "Minette: Recollections or a Part-Time Lady". As you know he was great and I was so happy to record him months before he died. Really, he was so great and individual. We may disagree about some things, everyone disagrees, but he was a wonderful person who inspired others.
