This is my fourth video. It took me all day today to finish. And I know it's not George's song, but I wanted to do something different this time. It's a tribute for George Harrison from Coldplay.
The audio at the beginning is from a Coldplay concert where Chris Martin followed by singing George's "Here Comes the Sun". The piano bit behind it is called "Postcards From Far Away" from their EP Prospekt's March. And the music for rest of the video is called "Glass of Water", also from Prospekt's March.
Chris Martin has said that he was influenced by George Harrison, and them being one of my favorite bands next to the Beatles, I wanted to make a tribute for George with one of their songs. I hope you all enjoy it!!
Also, some of the photos in this video I edited myself in Photoshop. (I will add the times of each in the comments section.)

Lyrics:
Scared of losin' all the time
He wrote it in a letter
He was a friend of mine
He heard you could see your future
Inside a glass of water
With ripples and the rhymes
He asked 'Will I see heaven in mine?'

Oh that is just the way it was,
and nothing could be better,
and nothing ever was.
And they say you can see your future,
inside a glass of water,
with riddles and the rhymes
but 'will I see heaven in mine?
Ooooh, oooh, ooooh ...

Son, don't ask,
Neither how full nor empty is your glass,
Cling to the mast
Spend your whole life living
In the past
Going nowhere fast

So he wrote it on a wall
The hollowest of halos
Is no halo at all
and televisions selling plastic
figurines of leaders
Saying nothing at all
And you chime
Stars in heaven align
Ohhhhhhhh

Son, don't ask,
Neither how full nor empty is your glass,
Cling to the mast
Spend your whole life living in the past
Going nowhere fast

What are we drinking when were done just glasses of water.

  • I love the music great video

  • Thanks for doing this for George. Because of his quiet humility, to some it probably seemed that he was overlooked or unappreciated. I love his distinctive guitar sound. It's such a major part of the unique and melodic Beatle sound.

Anyone who knows the Beatles, knows that so much of their sound, was George. Maybe he deserved more space on their albums, but what L/M should have been booted? And he's being honoured and remembered here again, with your really nicely done tribute.

  • This was beautiful, I really liked the last part. Thanks for this video. Also loved the song.
