A new Summon Night game for DS. From Namco Bandai. This time, it's a turned based RPG in classic style. Looks decent. Coming to Japan November 5th, 2009. No word on a US release, but if there is, I'll update this description.

  • Crimson Nocturnal, the fan translation group that was working on translating this game, has shut down. They quit due to being harassed by retards on their forums. So many think the world and everyone it it owes them, and that they deserve to be served everything on a silver platter while they can sit on their fat asses attacking hard working people (who worked for free). These spoiled brats ruined the chance of getting this game for any respectable person thanks to their immaturity.

  • Any idea of when the eu or us release date is?

  • There are no plans for a US/EU release currently. Many games in the series never saw a US/EU release. We'll be lucky if we get it at all.

  • @granvillimus Apparently, there's a patched english ROM version out there, if you kow where to look...;p

  • @Dambrosi Yes, a fan translation is in the works by a group called Crimson Nocturnal. It's an early work, but they are translating the dialog. Maybe someday they'll finish this game. They'll likely be slow though, they're also working on two other DS games at the same time.

  • @granvillimus Would it be best to move to japan or where ever just for a game, show, etc?

  • @koko6504 I wouldn't move to Japan just for a game or something. Not that it isn't a nice country or anything (that's not what i'm saying at all), but that's not a reason you should move there. You could just learn the language if you just wanted to understand a game or TV show. No need to move to a totally different country just for that. The DS is also region free, so in this case you could just import the Japanese game if needed.

  • I miss the Old craft knight style gaming

  • is there an english version of this?

    i hope there is

  • @TalesOfGod There is not a translation, I mean there is a patch that turns the game into english for the first part, which is like around half n hour of gameplay. But after that it goes to japanese again, and the guy claiming to be the translator keeps saying he leaves the project, then he comes back again, and so on he goes

  • NAMCO BANDAI, YOU BASTARDS!!!

You always keep good games just like the Tales Of series (okay they are making some movement to that so I'll forgive it for a bit) and the Summon Night series!!

Even worse, they send out games that are garbage like Tekken and DragonBall Z and don't even get me STARTED on the damn little kid games....

  • @EXHellfire Hmm...

Wait! There's a Tales Of Hearts translation O.o

Why did I never hear of it and what's wrong with it?

  • @Shadonmiki BECAUSE U GUYS SUCKS ... ( U GUY = EVERY OTHER COUNTRIES TRYING TO MATCH JAPAN) ..

    p/s: i'm not from japan

  • Y U NO TRANSLATE U LAZY BASTARD

  • Dang it why does the Japanese always makes the best games? Their games and animes are so epic.

  • Again, the Japanese being freaking selfish, and keeping the good stuff to them... I swear, they really get on my nerves, as they don´t give a shit about us that don´t know a language that´s only spoken in a country that is freaking tiny, I mean, wanna do a game, do it in the mostly spoken language worldwide, English, not Japanese, nobody outside Japan and translators know Japanese...

  • @granvillimus Yeah I agree regarding Crimson Nocturnal, but take a look at Kajitani´s translation for Tales of Hearts, it´s a joke. The guy is a troll, and then people brand the fans that get angry as douches :/
