Build this simple box to protect your sensitive electronic devices from the elements when barbecuing. Keeps your meat probe thermometers and automatic temperature controllers dry while still allowing visibilty to them.

  • Do You Sell Complete Rain Box?.

  • I'm no handyman, but I did the basic rainbox (sans battery pack) quite easily. On the spur of the moment I decided to go with 1.5" fittings, but I think John's suggestion of 2" is better. 1.5" is a tight fit for the exhaust hose.

@Jakewaa a hole saw drill bit makes holes a snap.

  • I think you might only need one opening to serve for air intake, output hose, and the wires.

  • What did you use to cut the holes? I want my cuts to look as good as yours.

  • real men use charcoal

  • How did you do the battery pack??
