axis migration(flare) on a 2 piece ball, here you will see 3 spots marked on the migration plane of the axis. The core of the ball(pin placed in an imbalanced position) is 'pulling' the ball off the bowlers' prefered spin axis, hence forcing the ball track to flare. The 'flare' of the track exposes fresh surface of the ball as it rolls down the lane, creating more grip and 'hooking' potential.

  • that's 450 range

  • oil line don't tell you rpm's - it's a combi of axis tilt, rotation and speed. bot if i had to guess, i'd say 350-400 range

  • This is one very "domineering" video. =p

  • This video is a favorite on Washington D.C.

  • @UrFvcked I think it's because most people are right handed so it's makes thing easier for us

  • lol y would he change the view for mirror lol stop it at 0:05 u can see the lane # 12 is backwards lol

  • Both JustHereForBowling and KB24ts6 are wrong, the VIDEO is mirrored. Look at the "Brunswick" sign and the lane numbers.

  • retard, look where the pin is....right side...he is right handed

  • no its not, his ball is even layed out for a righty..

  • hahah yea man, that axis is way wrong. (even if that was a lefty in a mirror image video, it's STILL wrong). Check out the slow-motion videos on youtube
