@ShinDemon33 for our purposes...identical mate, the 1.4 simply added an extra channel to allow high speed comms (basically like adding an ethernet line) go have a read up... 1.3 or 1.4 doesn't matter! :)

people are saying the 1.3 and 1.4 hdmi are exactly the same. any help? i m comfused..

the experience is great, but you have to get used first and you have to set the right settings for acuracy.
I had to get the optoma 3D XL adapter because the ps3 3D has a 1.4 hdmi output and my acer 3D projector a 1.3 hdmi input.
