The angel and corbel moulds are taken from pieces out of an old presbytery, and painted with inspiration from baroque church art.
I looked out of the window in my St Antonin town house at the "maison de l'amour" with it's enchanting medieval kissing heads known as the "Tetes de l'Amour". They would have been painted originally so in my rendition I've decorated with colourful glazes to return expression to their faces.
