  • The fugue that starts in 2:34 reminds me of a fugue that Vivaldi composed in one of his concerts from "L'estro Armonico". It must be for 2 violins and cello. I've also noticed the same fugue in a concert from Bendetto Marcelo, which as been transcribed by Bach for harpsichord. Is there any possiblity that Purcel also "stole" this theme?

  • haha, the first time I played this first movement it feel so awkard, so many chromatic! But I love it so much now :)
