HUNGER BOWL PSA 09

Football fans can support their team and fight hunger at the second annual Hunger Bowl, which takes place on November 14 during Boise State Universitys game against the University of Idaho. Fans can bring non-perishable food donations to the game for the Boise Rescue Mission, the Salvation Army of Boise, and The Idaho Foodbank, three organizations on the frontline of fighting hunger in Idaho.

Volunteers and staff from each organization will collect canned food at tailgating events and pregame gatherings in Julia Davis Park, along Broadway Avenue, University Drive and from other areas near the campus. Food bins and totes will also sit at each stadium entrance.

With BSU fans and supporters from all three organizations participating, Hunger Bowl 2009 is set to be even more successful than before. With a lot more support behind it this year, Hunger Bowl should be really strong!.
