Dante's Inferno review - To play or not to play?

We know that Dante's Inferno is a God of War clone, but is it still good enough to stand on it's own? Watch the video to see what I thought.

I wouldn't say it's a clone or a knock off. Those are pretty harsh allegations. I love GoW and Dante's inferno. I actually find more similarities between lords of shadow and Dante's inferno. They're all great third person hack and slash games.

Dante's inferno could have been a better game, but it's atmosphere is powerful enough though it's haunting themes and disgusting designs, and I mean that in a good way. That being said, GOW is not the first in its genre nor will it be the last, Dante had the immense misfortune of being constantly compared and smacked down through it. All in all, Dante may not be the best hack and slash, but has it's own worth. I'd give it an 8 too, though I don't consider it a rip off.

You give a game you call a rip off a 7.5 or 8!? wow, I wish my teachers had the same sense of grading, that way all I'd need to do is to copy half of someone elses work and add some extra words in it. Besides that, I loved Dante's inferno, and I'm totally sick and tired of everyone going on and on about being GOW rip, which granted is an awesome game. The combat system isn't as fluent, and the enemies a lot easier to kill with some glitches, but all in all it's great concept. (cont.)

Does she realize that you do not HAVE to Punish or Absolve enemies? Yeah you wont level up but the game can be beaten without leveling up really it just makes the game more difficult. And i actually think its a creative idea to choose to Punish or Absolve enemies to level up your character.

I downloaded that game on the ps3 and i like that it has custom soundtrack which i find it very cool when i fight enemies using Devil May Cry music. Also it was epic when i used the music of the final battle between Neo and Smith from Matrix Revolutions for the final boss fight of the game. The thing i hate most about that game is it shows alot of nudity and that Single combo challenge is very irritating and frustrating for me and the bosses feels almost impossible to beat beyond normal mode.
