MDR Fernsehen / MDR Television is the public TV-station from MDR-Broadcasing Coorporation. "MDR" stands for "Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk" and is responsible for the East German federal states of Sachsen-Anhalt, Thuringia and Saxony. MDR offers radio stations on FM and MW and one TV station, wich you will see now.

At the 14.10.2007 I received MDR on UHF ch E31 from Inselsberg here in Frechen near Köln.

Just want to show you that TV-DX as tropospheric reception can be done quite easily and in a very simple way with a handheld Casio EV 510 + rod antenna.

At 02.11.2007 this reception was veryfied by QSL-card.
