All I recorded the Racor Heavy Lift Lifting off my Jeep's hardtop. At the beginning there are a few pictures of the Racor Lift installation. It took us about 2 hours to install it. and about 30 minutes to lift off the top for the first time. My Porter Cable 18 volt Lithium can lift the rack about 15 times on a charge. The Jeep top is 90 lbs and the lift is rated at 250lbs. The rack is very nice and supporting all 4 corners puts you in control. Hard top lifts that dangling from 1 anchor point is silly. I got the lift for 145.00 on Amazon delivered to my house. It utilizes the rafters 48 inches apart and I did change the 20 bolts that secure it. Enjoy... Happy Jeep'n and life's better topless!
Yes it is very secure hanging there, but with 2 kids I like the doors to be protected too. With my rack, I can put a tarp over the whole thing and keep it in the corner away from the bikes.

The idea was to make something to support the doors and roof panels then have the hardtop over them to protect the doors. The dimensions ended up being 48 inch by 48 inch by 48 inch. Turns out, I wanted to make it the biggest I could and save on 2X4 waste. That drove the dimensions. It has 2 inch casters to allow it to roll. I am fairly happy with it. It does take up space when not in use which is OK for us. I can email more pics if needed. Happy Jeeping

Awesome job. I like the door storage rack, how did you make it?

@ibasleestak The assembly the Racor Storage rack is easy, just follow the enclosed directions. A cordless drill makes the installation easier since I piloted all hole.

Just put the top on start to finish in 19 min 43 sec, next time will be faster, I bolted the top down before pulling the rachet straps out and the hook did not fit thru, so I needed to separate the rachet strap to pull the hook end out.
