Apart from being a good singer, Heidi always looks great in her stage outfit. No skinny chick but a full, charming woman to dream of. Sigh....

The more I see of Heidi the more I'm thrilled how gorgeous she is. A classic full-figured beauty and a good singer on top of it. Not to forget the good band, of course!

I am very sorry if I caused contention here. I personally think that both Tarja and Heidi are great sopranos, no matter of the pitch of their voices. I am just glad that the combination of Opera and HM exists. To me it is both thrilling and energizing.

@spineyrequiem Well.. I know difference between mezzosoprano, lyricalsoprano anykind of soprano so I don't need that info. Just cannot understand where the hell you can here that mezzosopranos tone in Heidis voice. And I think (this is my opinion) that Tarja is more dramatic and Heidi is little bit more lyrical than Tarja if she stops make that dark tone. And if you didn't understood me I'm sorry.. English isn't my native language.

@magoinen Firstly, coloratura and mezzo are both forms of soprano. The lowest form is Contralto. Secondly, most women are Mezzo sopranos, including Heidi, whose voice has a Mezzo-soprano tone to it as well. Mezzos can still sing very high-my sister can sing Queen of the Night (look it up), and she's only 14 so hasn't had nearly as much training as Heidi. Finally, it's just 'higher'. 'More higher' is bad grammar.

@Shadowcat1964 Not exactly. I'd say that Tarja was a Coloratura (mega-high soprano), although she can also hit some quite low notes now, whereas Heidi is more Mezzo.

On a completely unrelated note, I should just mention that, according to various sources, this is Heidi on an INCREDIBLY bad day. She went down with flu or something early in the tour, and actually missed a couple of concerts because of it...

@Ethicqueta I say they're about the same. I heard Tarja sing mega high notes. Both are sopranos, but we yet need to hear Heidi sing mega high notes :D
