@sdcb27 Here's a few things that help me to get a pretty cool sounding tone for surf rock. get a nice clean sound and then add a ton of reverb, set the guitar to the neck pickup, pick the strings close to the bridge. any amp with a clean channel and reverb will work great. if you don't have reverb on your amp, you could buy a reverb pedal.

Man of all the vids on you tube I find yours to be the most educational .Thanks for taking the time to record all of the lessons you have given to us.
I do have a question though. What type and guage of strings do you use on your guitars? Mainly the one set up for " surf style ", the Fender Jaguar .

@sdcb27 Guitar --> duet APOGEE --> iMac --> Garageband. All amp settings are in Garageband.
