OMA explains their reasons for getting involved with the Auction. They also discuss the piece they donated and how it underscores environmental sustainability as a responsibility that needs to be taken up by individuals and the community, and cannot just be left to the government. OMA further explains their holistic approach, as modern day architects, towards generating art that truly contributes to society. OMA believes their role is not just to create sustainable design, but also, to be part of the debate on issues such as air pollution.
