This is the second part of my homemade Greenhouse. The PVC pipes are ten feet long and the roof has a rise of approximately one foot.

  • its done i just haven't made a video of it. I will try to do it this summer. It is better than ever now and of a whole new structure now.

  • the plastic lasted all summer and I rolled it up till next spring so I can use it again. It is in perfect condition so there wont be any problem. Since this was posted I put another better idea and I will have to post it next spring.

  • It is not totally done yet as I have to fix the roof cause rain comes down too hard, when it is finally done I will post the final video to this project.

  • The wood under the PVC pipe might rott in a year , but if your growing medicinal marijuana , the growth cycle is only 3 months so I'd be good

  • Is it done? What about part three?

  • @mikenewmanphone thanks for the reply. I did go ahead a build a smaller 4X5 foot about 6 feet high in the beginning of the spring maybe after seeing this. I used his ideas but instead I made a PVC square with PVC pipes at each corner popping up. buried the square then glued the legs of the PVC green house on all 4 corners into the buried square that had PVC on each of its corners popping out of the dirt. so far its holding up but the winter in NY will be the real test.

  • @jsbattlenet he didnt reply so I will from. 1st, his wood supports are going to rot in a year making his greenhouse fail RIGHT when things start to grow big. The shitty part is the wood is in the PVC, so when they start to rot from the moisture, he wont know till the thing collapses.

    2nd. heavy snow = fail

    3rd. Strong wind = fail

Cool video though! Not trying to be an ass. I love home projects, and I have failed at many! This seems to work for this guy wherever he lives though, so thumbs up!!!!!

  • @Redicknuff can you tell us why it sucks so we can learn from your experience

  • i would like to know how long that plastic lasted??

  • Use fishing line to go around each wall - to keep the plastic from streching to far during high winds..
