This 1949 Mercury will need to be gone through again, top to bottom by it's next potential owner. When you can smell mold in the cold, then you KNOW you have issues! I hate to pick on you painters and bodymen, but the filler king on this project was definitely a "mudmaster". Somebody needs to introduce this clown to a mig welder and some sheet-metal. This car had more crack than a drug dealer. This car had problems that even Jesus couldn't forgive. Nothing lights me up more than a rusty frame and underbody, left unattended, while cleverly disguised bodywork, destine to fall apart lay under a 20 foot paint job. You ever heard of a "pig in Lipstick"??? Keep your eyes open for this one to pop up on the market.....You've been warned!!!
