  • Jeff, whar are your thoughts on the just right 9mm carbine vs the hi point 9mm carbine?

  • Hard to compare, as both work pretty well, but are not even close in price.

  • Jeff I have a real quick question, this gun has had numerous complaints of double hammer strikes, has this been fixed?

  • On the latest guns, I have heard of no complaints. My two early guns from a couple of years ago had problems, but they were prototypes. The new guns have been running very well, from the reports that I have received.

  • So Jeff, any chance of this thing taking the Glock 18 snail drum mags?

  • Yes. It will accept any Glock 17 or 18 magazine.

  • A 6.5 pound gun that can't shoot +P's, that's ridiculous. Yes, I know it's blowback but still it's stupid not to make a long gun that can handle hot handgun loads.

  • As stated in the text of the review, it is lighted by tritium and fiberoptic. Please read the review. You will get a lot more details from there.

  • honestly the 995 just cant be beat you can buy 2 995's for the price of one of these

  • things to buy... the come and take it flag. Awesome

  • @ETHEREALYOGA I think thats partly the strength of choosing glock mag compatibility, everyone expects it these days as most are glock fans, so to not make one for the most popular is just excluding yourself from a market, where as the latter isnt common so there might not be a market

  • @fordarryl I have to agree. The Hi-Point 995TS can eat up +P rounds all day long (I know, I've had two of them :P). I've never heard of this make before, and I am interested especially since hi-cap glock mags are pretty easy to get here. But, the lack of +P is a bit irritating. In heavy urban locations, a 9mm carbine is PERFECT for a "Just in Case" weapon, but it seems I have to choose between either capacity (+to the JR) or most available power (+ to the Hi-Point)

  • How much does the weapon weigh?

  • Just got this gun Friday. I love the accuracy and the overall design simplicity. Sadly, by Sunday I had already broken the extractor (200 rounds?). I was shooting away and suddenly it stopped extracting, after dissassembly I could clearly see where the claw of my extractor used to be. The good news is that I called JR Carbines and got Tom Fargnoli himself, and in literally two minutes of explanation he immediately agreed to send me two new "heavy duty" extractors, springs, and pins no charge
