Sodom by the Sea, home of the original Coney Island Caviar, Ruby's on the boardwalk, the Cyclone & the Parachute Drop, the Mermaid Parade, Deno's Wonder Wheel, the Bowery and a million memories...

During World War 2 the lights of Coney Island were the last thing soldiers would see of home as their ships headed out to sea from the Brooklyn Navy Yard.
