Me spinning a rifle to "woo hoo" by the 5,6,7,8's

-I'm posting this for Dr. Hall's mathematical thinking class. The music in the video follows the Fibonacci sequence in an interesting way, with the addition of musical voices to the song. The sequence does not follow the exact order of Fibonacci, but for the most part the voices are grouped by 1, 2, 3, and 5 at various points. Even at the few points where the count is not directly Fibonacci, all whole numbers can be created by adding two non-sequential Fibonacci numbers together. As an added bonus, the tricks I do on rifle typically follow the same count grouping.

I know my form isn't too great here, it was a bit of an off day. I even dropped a few times at the end. I'll probably upload a better video later.

  • Have you ever hit yourself in the no-no spot? ;)

  • @Emilyly19 probably at least once, but you learn quickly not to do that;) Most often I would hit my nose.

  • Awesome! Very fast spinning -- I was pretty impressed with you being able to keep up with the tempo during doubletime spins. I think you've got talent, kid. I hope you're still spinning because you are great. :) Have you marched with any groups?

  • @Ilipipuli Thank you very much. Unfortunately I haven't been able to keep up spinning much, but I spun for one season with the Riverbend High School Marching Band.

  • lol i want to see u do that with the rifle we use u be droppin it so many times that thing u using like 5 pounds my rifle 15-20 pounds

  • @HeNrYrAw4 I thought that Wildjoe550 had made possibly the most unintelligent comment possible, however you have forced me to reconsider. If you learned to read at some point you would know this was just a stupid video made for a class not a performance. Furthermore, the rifle you spin is not 15-20 pounds unless you're referring to the currency used in the UK. Hell, at least 737pilot7 knew the correct weight for a drill rifle. Go crawl in a hole and die you cretin.

  • Through the legs!!

  • It makes me laugh when you guys tell us to stop using "toy rifles" and be a "real man". Have they taught you respect? To understand that it is just as difficult to perform for us? Making fun of other people doesnt make you tough, sure you're holding a 13 pound rifle, but you're also talking crap out of your mouths, at least we learn sportsmanship. We also have to spin, AND dance, act, and remember all our drill spots. What you're doing and what we're doing are two completely different things.

  • @christiandrummer93

    They aren't toys.

  • I could never do this no matter what I was spinning. That was sick bro. :0

  • toy rifle? really? try being a man and spinning a real drill rifle like a springfield or M1

  • That...... was awesome
