This was Flowers For Heroes 2nd installation. We placed a flower at every headstone at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood Illinois on Veterans Day 2009. Governor Pat Quinn spoke as did Miss Illinois, Russ Phillip, Tony Cutrano and Joe Cantafio played a beautiful song. There was a Blackhawk Helicopter flyover and a 21 gun salute.
