I´ve driven my Mazda 6 mps on snow conditions and it runs well. It would probably be better if it was a 4WD but i´m happy with the response.

I love the Mazda 6 MPS (i'm from Europe) but i'm owning a '98 Impreza Turbo right now.

I doubting very much if i want a 2003 Impreza WRX or 2003 Mazda 6 MPS for next car...

Anyone suggestions?

The Impreza WRX is faster, more agressive and uses less fuel.

But the Mazda has more classy looks, newer technology and great interior...

I saw this video back after we got done with last winter right after buying the 2008 Mazda6 i Sport Value Edition and was thinking that this being the MPS the handling may be different. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the Mazda6i handles very well in snow - in fact w/ TCS it can tackle almost anything up to 5" deep, but like any vehicle as soon as the snow is to the car's belly your gonna have problems unless you have a huge wheel height.

This looks so fun. I do it on my spare time with my mazda3 in a snowy, icy parking lot, but its not the same than a snow track like this .

I'm lucky too to own one of these in black. I love the car. I've had a ton of fun in the snowy roads around town, just slightly kicking out the rear a bit. I have only gone up to 145mph in mine. Still, when you can beat some stage 1 Mustangs and Camaro's, people are shocked. I've never had a bad comment about the SPEED 6, aside from the reliability. But hey, it is a Mazda after all.

I have a lightly modded V6 6,every now and then I have pangs of regret that I didn't get a speed 6. But I am getting a speed 3 in a few years so all will be well in the end.
