  • what a wonderful part of this great show -- i am watching just about each one and almost in tears because there just aren't people of this caliber anymore --

  • they were a wonderful couple who overcame some of life's darkest moments together through their love for one another and through, of course, their unwavering faith. thanks for the post!

  • @Ciada91 I read it many years ago. I cried like a baby but it was ALSO beatiful too. The kind of faith you pray to have

  • I cried when I saw the news that Dale had died, and I telephoned my mama, and cried again.

How I loved these two. How I will always love them.

  • Shout out from a y-generation who loves roy Rogers! What a gentleman-he tipped his hat!

  • You aren't an American unless you like Apple & Pumpkin pie, "The Wizard of Oz", "I Love Lucy" AND Roy Rogers!

  • "The only happiness you get to keep is the happiness you give away." -Roy Rogers

  • @photoshoot60 Sure there are just not in Hollywood. : )

  • roy and dale were my favorites of all time growing up. i loved them and nellybell! the kids of today have no idea what they missed. we were very fortunate to have been little kids in the 50 during the golden age of tv.

  • @sbutler0727 Since Roy answered Dorothy's query about one of the two being an actress in the affirmative, Dorothy then remarked, "Not YOU," since she was hearing a male voice answer the question.

  • hollywood has nothing today like the people who were on this show over the years. it should be called bratwood not hollywood.

  • National Hero's..........You bet!!!
