Introduction to the basic usage of MediaRover.
MediaRover is a software system that allows you to sync and share your iTunes music and playlists with everyone else in your family.
Once the whole family has synched their music to the MediaRover shared library, that library is also available to other devices on the home network such as Sonos players, Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Squeezebox, Boxee, Windows Media Center, D-Link Pebble, Western Digital WD TV and more.
MediaRover will sync ANY of the music in your library, not just iTunes-authorized music. With your account, you can sync up to 8 computers.
It's FREE and available now at www.mediarover.com
I love media rover, it really saves me a lot of time. I add the music to my library and my wife gets the same songs in her library and my Plex Media Server has it's own library also sync'd. Perfect, thanks guys

@guruji01 That question was loosely answered on our messageboard recently. YouTube doesn't seem to want me to include a link, but you can head to our website then our forum (the green button towards the top of the page) and look for a thread titled "Can MediaRover sync over the internet?"

@RoyaleCafe Yes we intend to keep it free for the end user.

Its free but will it stay free?

this sounds like you have be in the same network - home or office. Any chances we are going to be able to share music across PCs in different network? Otherwise, I don't see a whole lot of value here as you can easily create a centralized media server at home..
