Mattie Clay Brown '08 describes her science experience at Grinnell College, which provided a strong foundation for her educational philosophy as a member of Teach For America in Leland, MS.
This video was produced for the October 4, 2008, dedication of Grinnell College's remarkable new science center, named after Grinnell graduate Robert Noyce, co-inventor of the integrated circuit and co-founder of Intel. The center is designed to reflect the college's active learning approach, in which individuals pursue knowledge as working scientists.

This is so awesome. I went to Grinnell ('76).Don't be fooled by the fact that the colege is in Iowa and in a place you have never heard about. I owe a lot of what I am today to my exposure to an education at that school. I highly recommend it to the adventurous. It will start your journey to many roads. Go ahead Mattie!
