Having SD Media Launcher, now I could also try using SDBoot for playing Gamecube games on Wii. The SD Media Adapter from SD Media Launcher is incompatible with the SDBoot application, so I need to use WiSD Memory Adapter (or Wiikey SD Card Adapter or SD Gecko in general). In my SD card, I put several Gamecube games (shrinked with GCMUtility.exe) so they could fit inside 2GB SanDisk SD Card. One of them is Pikmin 2. I use SDBoot v0.4b8 for slot B to load the game. And since this application requires a retail disk when playing the game, I put Wii Sport disc.
Enjoy.
Steps for anyone wants to try:
1. Put WiSD Memory Adapter into slot B and Gamecube Memory Card into slot A of the Wii
2. Run SD Media Launcher disk
3. Now, you are in Gamecube mode, so use Gamecube controller and choose gamecube application sd-boot-0.4b8-B.dol
4. Push A button, and it will read the content of the folder GCGAMES inside the SD Card and show those Gamecube game files. At this time, you need to switch from SD Media Luncher disk with any retail Wii disk.
5. Choose the game you want to play and boot it, and start playing the game
umm would it work if i put a disk in a non working drive because mines is messed up

@coolgamerzcake:
Unfortunately, I cannot test such a scenario. From what I heard, as long as your Wii drive could take and eject the disc, then you could use it (but again, I cannot test it by myself).

@conanac thanks, already did, and ran it, which btw, it gets laggy due to not having load screens, is that the way it should be?

@ind3s1: I would suggest to use/try swiss-gc application (it could be said perhaps a newer version of sd-boot application and created by the same person, and has other capabilities as well).
