Eve University Lesson: Using the Pod-Saver Tab

A quick demonstration on how to properly use a "Pod Saver" tab in order to save yourself and your pod from a destroyed ship.

Correct.  Let it be known that the eject was only to simulate the effect of getting blown up (without my own ship getting blown up). If you are in danger of losing your ship, don't eject. Just spam the warp button.

no no no. That means you have remember to switch tabs, and your warping to a place that they can follow.

I keep my "people and places" open and on the bookmarks tab. this way I can immediately right click on a random bookmark and warp to it. This means you only have two clicks and your warping to a secure spot in space. You will need to organize your bookmarks so that the ones in your current system are at the top.

Dont eject!!! Just when you start hitting structure, select a celestrial and spam the warp button. When the lag is over, your already in warp.

Just keep in mind that you don't need to eject, and it will actually hurt your chances to get out since lag with the session change that is created when you do may be enough for the enemy to lock your pod. Additionally, they may have time to stop firing in time and then steal your ship.
