Haha, great phone!!
Yeah, that is really nice, smooth tone comin out of that amp. And I bet it sounds better live... Thanks for the info in the setup

Hey Levi, Thanks dude, I always try to get the best tone i can...hence very empty pockets...In terms of my playing, you're spot on, but sometimes I only hear it when i play it back to myself...but i would say i'm a better player now than then. Thats cuz i heard what i was doing and conciously forced my playing to go elsewhere to express myself more. To me it should be about feel and soul not necessarily speed...
Thanks for the comment and for taking the time to listen to us...
Cheers

Hi there, Thanks for the kind words...
Its a 50th Anniversary Amber strat going straight thru the H&K Amp lead sound 2 channel B, gain is about half way bass pretty high, mid is low and the high is pretty high too. The rhythm is is Amp 2 channel A..and i'm using a boss dd20 delay. The H&K is a stunning amp, really versatile. I've recently got myself a Zendrive too...and wow..its fabulous...This was recorded through a mobile phone believe it or not..!
I hope that helps
Cheers

nice, smooth playing
Who actually did the original version of this song, was it Elvis?

It was actually written by a guy called Lowell Fulson around the mid 50's, an old blues man who sadly is no longer with us.
I think Elvis's version was on the 'Elvis Is Back' album from around 1960.
But I think a version or two were recorded prior to that, probably by Fulson himself but who else I'm not sure?
If you put a search into 'youtube' it'll pull up several songs by Fulson.
