Wow I like this kid. Great voice, no impersonation. A wonderful talent in his own right. THIS is the way to do a performance.

So many people feel Jamie is doing an Elvis performance here when he is NOT. They requested several Elvis numbers while he was in Japan for this tour and Jamie obliged them! But anyone who is a true Elvis fan will recognize that Jamie is not wearing any clothing associated with what Elvis wore on stage., though he probably would have loved the long, brown overcoat.

i almost want to utter the words " hes better at being elvis than elvis was!

That's really nice of you to say but Jamie will agree here that Elvis was one of a kind and if someone feels Jamie is close to that.....that is quite an achievement and also quite an honor for him!

Jamie Kelley is so phenomenally talented in his own right that he deserves first-class material with which to begin his own recording career. He's wasting his time doing Elvis. He could include a few really witty Elvis songs in the act, but should begin to produce his own body of work. This kid has real potential.

Actually, that is what he is doing now! He no longer does what most would call an Elvis impersonation unless it's in an acting type role with a Broadway caliber type of show. His own Heart and Soul of Rock-n-Roll performances include songs from many different artists, including Ray Charles, Sam Cooke, the Platters, Roy Orbison, along with original material he has written (one of which won the #1 top spot for the Rockabilly song of the year in 2006!) and songs from his own Cd's.
