FastBottoms Hull Diving has been providing prompt, professional underwater services to San Francisco East Bay boaters since 1994. Hull cleaning, zinc replacement and propeller R&R. We are a PYI-recommended Max Prop installation specialist and dealer. As members of the California Professional Divers Association, we have been trained and certified in the use of in-water hull cleaning Best Management Practices, making our divers amongst the best educated, most environmentally proactive hull cleaners in the state. Don't be fooled by jack-of-all-trade, fly-by-night boat maintenance workers or recreational scuba divers looking to make a quick buck. There is a difference. We are professionals, we are specialists and we have the tools, parts, knowledge and experience (having performed over 20,000 hull cleanings) to properly maintain your boat's bottom and maximize the life of your expensive anti fouling paint.

  • suction cups, gloves, weight belts and BC's are for girls :-P Love the vis, I am luck to get 300mm.

I like the pad holder, I am using pads cut in half by hand, do they stick onto the holder OK?

  • @colinleake Yes, the pad holder works great. I make them out of 2pcs of foam PVC layered on top of each other, the handle from a cheap cement float and some 3M Sta-Lok marine grade velcro-type fastener. I can e-mail pix if you like.

  • Will regularly having the hull scrubed help to extend the life of the anti-foul paint??

  • Yes. The trick is top clean it frequently enough that the softest scrubber can always be used. Less frequent cleanings mean a more abrasive scrubber must be used, shortening the lifespan of the paint.

  • What kind of suction cup device that?

  • @ffllooyyd It's a small plunger head mounted on a PVC pile pistol grip that I made. I can e-mail pix if you like.
