Im from chicago and i want to join Chicago SWAT after my service in the coast guard. Any tips??

@lovefrompraha Not nececarally. The SWAT force is highly trained in S&R, hostage situations, riots, bomb threats, and even terrorists. Im not saying the U.S. Army doesn't train in that, but the SWAT Force does. Hope this helps!

I got a question. I'm a ranger United states army, shouldn't I be more than qualified just to jump into swat when I grab a police contract when I get out?

I was a cop in the AF, wanted to become an officer or perhaps SWAT. Injured my back in the military, now my life long dreams have been ruined.

As far as I know, yes. I doubt there's any state without more then a few SWAT teams.
