@richardsroof . This roof has the proper ventilation. It's impossible for you to determine the ventilation of this roof from this small video segment. Kirkey Roofing installs an open valley, we do not recommend a closed valley system. A few roofing companies in our area do install ridge caps in the valleys, which can be a problem. If you need information on tile roof installation for Florida, please contact the FRSA and request a copy of the Tile Roof Installation Manual.

That roof can't breath and what if the valley flashings get plugged up with sand from the tile, how are you going to clean it out?
