The Thai team is the no. 1 in south east asia, and they have risen from the ashes in world competition soaring like the Asian phoenix thats her due ! They beat China in 2009 in the Asian Volleyball Competition. And they have been on the world stage eversince....unlike their other poor south east asian counterparts!

@thorntonmk No need to get defensive. Thais have gotten better (I said that in other vids & cheered them on). The Cubans did play real lousy though (as others have seen/said.. I've played/coached); they had so many errors here (far from the level of their former team that won many golds) -- that's just a matter of fact; "it is what it is." No need for name-calling too -- I'm not a hater (why put hashtags on youtube?), & also "badass" is a compliment here (meaning impressively good) lol :)

@revanslc yeah you knw it just the PAST!! Thailand is deloping its own ability to compete with the world teams today! Theres no need to say Cuban play lousy or whatever... Didnt yu see how Thai played so well? you badass. IT IS WHAT IT IS. Thai beat Cuba two matches in just three weeks later from the first match. #hatersgonnahate
