Rigging the system so a few people gain most of the profits, while others struggle to survive. Dylan Ratigan, Morning, makes some really good pointsabout health and banking systems being exempt from normal regs.

  • Check it out: There is no "Red", "Blue", "Liberal", "Conservative" etc etc. We are not each other's enemies. My fellow American is not my enemy. Black, straight, gay, white, Mexican, immigrant, DOES NOT MATTER.

THE ENEMY IS JP MORGAN CHASE, WELLS FARGO, BOA, GOLDMAN SACHS ETC ETC. THE BANKS ARE THE ENEMY.

Do something about. The banks must tank.

  • I totally agree. Thank you for commenting.

  • "Corporate Communism" is an insult to true Communism but I understand what he's going for with the term. Thanks to Cold War propaganda, "Communism" is used more as an epithet than anything else, particularly among right-wingers who have no real understanding of Communist thought. Hopefully this term will pique their interest and help them realize that the biggest problem in American politics is the undue influence of private interests over our reps.

Still, I think "Corporatism" is more accurate.

  • agree. "corporatism" is probably more accurate, but less people are familar with that term... think he was just trying to make a point. Thanks for commenting.

  • corporatism is more fitting, but corporate communism sounds better

  • communism is businesses without competition with a guarantee consumers and non stop profits.of course it is happening here now, with forced insurance for this and that, forced use of gasoline to get around, If they really cared about competition they would of created alternative engines using different fuels including fuel you could make yourself. one time you could make your own gas called alcohol. remember prohibition? this was competition for gasoline had to go. monopolize it and all.

  • His assertion that there are 45,000 people dying because of a lack of health insurance is a LIE. NO hospital can turn away a patient from critical care. It is illegal sn they will be shut down. They work out, after one is healed, the finances... often times the person walks free from any payment... they are deemed "uncollectable". I am tired of these leftists telling bald faced LIES.

  • thank you for your comments!

  • ...to fight against the forces of Fascism. He joined a group called POUM, an anti-totalitarian Communist group. He was shot in the neck during the war, deemed unfit for service, and fled as the situation in Spain fell apart. His time with the POUM is chronicled in "Homage to Catalonia."

Orwell risked his life to fight for the democratic and Socialist values that he believed in. The idea that Socialism means total government control is the result of propaganda.

    Look up 'Libertarian Socialism."

  • I didn't say anything positive or negative about Communism, I simply commented on the misinformation surrounding the political theory, which you have summarized perfectly. The USSR, Cuba, and China were/are totalitarian 'socialist' states. The leaders of these states used the ideology of Socialism as a popular platform to gain power. But this is not the only form of Socialism.

Rand was born in Russia, but Orwell was English. Soon after civil war erupted in Spain in 1936, Orwell traveled there...

  • Yeah, Corporatism sux and doesn't work, but neither does communism. Take a look at the USSR or Cuba (which is a third world nation). Have you even lived in a real communist nation? You should try reading "1984" or "Atlas Shrugged," and by the way, both authors werent crazy "right wingers" but were ACTUALLY from communist Russia. And if communism is so "great", why did Mao murder up to 100 million people?
