  • @timpoiu The difference between God's works and man's works? Man's works proceed from self-will.Good works,on the other hand, proceed from the Divine disposition.Human works proceed from man's rebellious nature.Good works proceed from the Divine mercy and NOTHING ELSE Man freely proposes what God freely DISPOSES.Good works complete, with human cooperation, what God began in Christ.Salvation is past, present AND FUTURE.The race has yet to be completed! The winners have yet to be crowned!

  • But to love your fellow man, is it works? The good works naturally come forth from the faith, which is having a relationship with Christ. It is natural to do His will, when Christ lives inside you. In fact it is Him acting through a person. So one can conclude that if one does not do the works, he does not have Christ in him, he does not have a relationship, he does not have faith. So he might not be saved by grace through faith, because he has no faith. The fruits and the tree. God Bless.

  • @twowitnessesoftheson SIR! You are a HOPELESS IGNORAMUS that doesn't have a SORRY CLUE what you're talking about! If you don't know what the Catholic Church really teaches and what blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is,then you need to stop making such a fool out of yourself here.OK?

  • @MrJhb211 Your religion says that the eternal sacrifice of our Lord becomes something physical. That is blaspheming the Holy Spirit my friend. Baptism is not a ritual that people do over and over again... there is only ONE baptism... a ritual is repeated... the Eucharist in Catholicism is a lie. We are to remember the Lord and His sacrifice at the breaking of all bread and the drinking of all wine. The true Eucharist is in the spirit only! You are a religious zealot! The same killed Jesus!

  • @twowitnessesoftheson SIR! You have no clue about the seriousness of your frightful blunder! "the rituals of any religion are a STENCH IN GOD'S NOSTRILS?" ARE YOU MAD??The "rituals" of baptism and the eucharist as well as the others ARE COMMANDED BY GOD! You are not a Christian but a GNOSTIC HERETIC! The only insults being paid to the Holy Spirit are yours! You've been tragically BRAINWASHED BY LIARS! I THANK GOD FOR MY CATHOLIC FAITH! It TRULY is a gift! (thank you,Lord!)

  • @cburton103 Jesus was referring to a spiritual transformation within the heart of the believer when they must eat of His flesh and drink of His blood. We must take in the very essence of the Savior cleansing us from all unrighteousness. The rituals of any religion are a stench in God's nostrils for we now have the Holy Spirit. Do not blaspheme the Holy Spirit my brother. This sin is unforgivable and will send you to hell regardless of your faith in Jesus. He can only know you in the Holy Spirit.

  • @cburton103 He built His church upon the faith that He is the Christ, the Son of the Living God not upon a man. He builds His church in the hearts of every person that welcomes Him into their hearts. You are doing exactly what the Jews had done. You externalize God saying that He would build His church upon a man of flesh and blood when God says that He will write His laws upon our hearts. You follow a religion that says that Jesus actually is transformed into a wafer and a glass of wine.

  • @cburton103 Matthew 16:13-18..... understand the original text and what exactly it was translated... Jesus asked His disciples "Who do you say that I am?" and Simon Peter, which his first name was Simon at that time, replied "You are the Messiah, the Son of the Living God." Jesus replied to Simon, "Blessed are you Simon BarJonah (This was his real last name) for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father in Heaven, and I now call you Peter. On this rock, I will build My church.

  • @2LIronix John Piper worships an idol called "IMPUTATION" It was formed in the mind of Martin Luther 5 centuries ago while he was sitting on the monastery "crapper" and, since then, has beguiled MILLIONS AND MILLIONS of people!

  • @twowitnessesoftheson How about these?

Luke 22:32 "But I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers"

John 21:15-17 where Jesus tells Peter three times to feed/take care of his sheep

Matthew 16:18 where Jesus calls Peter the rock on which he will build the church.

These build a very solid case for Peter's unique role, without even mentioning how Peter's name is almost always mentioned first, and his name was changed to Rock.

  • @jebeja There's only ONE CHURCH! The True Church is the ONE historic community that has seen a constant fulfillment of the Divine promises made TO HER and ABOUT her for the last 2000 yrs. That Church is the Catholic Church,no matter HOW HARD people try to deny it.ALL OTHERS are counterfeits and/or wannabes! GBU!

  • @cburton103 There is no proof that Jesus ever said that Peter was to represent Him in a unique way. The Savior is alive and desires to come and dine with us. We will never come to our full faith if we do not eat of His flesh and drink of His blood in the Holy Spirit. He is alive in us. When we accept His salvation then He comes into us. It is there that we will find our connection to God, not in any church especially one that has been filled with corruption and lies since the beginning.
