@ItalianMetalhead91 The producers of the lion king wanted to make a kimba movie as HOMAGE to kimba but the kimba producers didn't want one so they made the lion king, the designs look NOTHING alike

@whitelion44 I think that some of those "connections" are vague though. The main reason I don't completely trust that page is because it says that kimbas Aunt was standing over him in that one picture. She lied about being his aunt. That makes me wonder what sources he's just stretching the truth from.
It may be inspired by a little (characters, not story) but as for calling tlk a copy or ripoff is just plain wrong imho.

@incogneegro Kimba's two closest friends were Polly Cracker-a parrot and Bucky-an antelope. those two scenes were not together in the original episodes. Just edited together for the opening montage.

@ilovemcyankooIdjdeny It would be good if someone would make a Croatian dub. I know it was shown there in English (the 1993 dub, without the original music). I don't know who would be willing to make a Croatian version.

@CamJar99 In a sequence that was cut out of the American version of the show, it was established that Kimba lived somewhere in the Great Rift Valley. I realize that name is considered archaic now; the region was probably meant to be somewhere around Lake Victoria. I use "around" in a very broad sense.
