I believe this was a homicide. Part of it is the fact that the cops ruled it a suicide and police have a tendency to be completly incompetent when they say something is suicide, as many of the videos on this channel will prove. On top of that, why would he have actual spent money on gas if he was going to kill himself? His wife's money, at that. I could understand setting up the scene by placing the pump in the tank. But to have spent his wife's last few dollars for no reason? I'm not buying it.
idk I can see both scenarios happening BUT when they said that he once went after the Mafia that put a new spin on things. I believe that he was killed by the Mafia an it was staged to look like a suicide.
yea, I agree with his wife, seems kind of odd that he would take some money and ask what ice cream everyone wanted if he was going to go kill himself, plus he was in the process of filling up his car, this was not a suicide
UM leaves stuff out sometimes which can be annoying. Like what was the trajectory of the bullet? If he was kneeling over a rock, and the shooter was standing, the trajectory would be very different to that of a suicide. And what about gunpowder residue on his hand? Was any found? Fingerprints on the gun? For it to be ruled a suicide, I think you would have to prove he fired that weapon. Lack of evidence that someone else was there is not proof enough that he was alone.
@expedition16 isnt it worse thinking it was a suicide and that you disliked you life and those around you enough to kill yourself. There is another case uploaded by UMyoucantstopme about a kid hunting in a forest and is found dead in a way very similar to this guy. The police were extremely confident that it was a suicide, but the parents didnt believe it. They even found evidence that supported homicide. I guess you can look at it from either perspective
If it was suicide. Why would he give his family the terrible thought that he was probably murdered? that he's dead would be tragic enough for them but having the feeling it was murder would make it even more painful. He seemed like a very decent man. If he wanted to kill himself he probably would've jumped off a bridge or put in a bullet in his head under circumstances homicide would be ruled out.

Makes me wonder if some of these officers were in on this homicide, or paid off by whoever was responsible.
