It is a shame that you choose to believe that. As seen in the elections, the voice for the opposition has grown and it will continue to do so. When people knock you down, you don't stay down. You keep working for what you believe in and speak your truth. Otherwise it is so self defeatist and one can never go far with that kind of attitude.

Businessman/Rich people will always look down on SIngaporean by saying Singaporean are overprotected.
Singaporean are like that because last time the slogan is "You never walk alone"
Now the slogan is "You die your own business"
