@nachtfrau1 i am running a catless set up right now mechanic even told me that my car passed emissions with flying colors lol

on 2002-2003 spec-v, if you have an header, you have to put an O² spacer on the 2nd O² sensor, and then clear your SES light. It worked great for me, no trouble since 200km.

sounds nice, I have some specs in my vids. check em out

CAT...as in cat-back?
-
On an 2002 you would have to relocate the 2nd O2 sensor and more than likely throw a code for not having a cat even though you have a main cat...you need an o2 spacer, which half the time doesnt work either
-
You still have a main cat if you buy the 4-1 headers without the cat.
-
you know the whole reason for putting am aftermarket header on a spec v, other than performanc, is to eliminate the pre-cat in the stock header because it breaks apart and causes you to need a new engine, so getting the nismo header with the cat is completely redundant, and idiotic
-
I just bought my 2005 servspec. Most likely gonna buy the nismo header and complete nismo exhaust system. Did you notice the power it offered, and did you get the nismo header w/ cat or w/o cat.
Your engrish kills me sean. Second, the fact that my car has a recall on it for the pre-cat doesn't matter. I installed them because I wanted performance, period. Thirdly it's not a spec v, it's an SE-R. Lastly ever hear of emissions? Kind of hard to pass that without a cat don't you think?

Mine is with the CAT, and I'd highly suggest doing the same. The one w/o the CAT doesn't sound as good and installing the O2 sensor on the one w/o the CAT is tricky and needs to be "jerry" rigged. Bottom line, spend the extra money and get the CAT, well worth the money. Dyno wise you'll get anywhere from 15-20 HP gains, def nice :)
