  • sudbury what a redneck wastland with hot bitches

  • I don't support this naive idea that price gouging consumers will decrease alcoholism. Look at countries like Australia where 750ml malibu is $50!!! They still binge twice as much! The LCBO, the BCLB and the other government "Businesses" operate purely in self interest, because they know their operating costs, the amount they spend on liquor that doesn't ever sell are inferior to taxed private stores, and they have an unfair monopoly being part of the government that they don't want to give up.

  • @00FlyHigh00 really are butt banging him for a colt 45....homo

  • They're capitalizing on stuff they know people want. Just stop jacking up the price for a bit of beer or a bottle of hard liquor. The price of alcohol in Ontario goes up almost weekly. Not that I'm an alcoholic. Just stop gouging me LCBO. Who cares about their ad campaign! I bet it's really lame and useless anyways.

  • everyone already knows that if you want booze you gotta go to the lcbo. its the law why waste money on advertising? you have stores everywhere!!. this is just another example of the government throwing away money.

  • @RunsWitGuns lmaooo That is probably the best description of Suds I've ever heard in my lfe. +1 internets for you good sir.

  • i know a guy whos stole more that $20000 or more worth of alcohol from these stores in the last year

  • @cgeorge1969 Why advertise. The LCBO is a monopoly! It doesn't need to advertise. You can only get your spirit alcohol from one supplier. they could sell from a tent in minus 30 degree weather. People would still go. WE HAVE NO CHOICE!

  • She is correct, It is a total conflict of interest with the LCBO selling alcohol and the tax payer picking up the bill to pay for alcoholics medical bills and other costs. The LCBO is a monopoly and should be disbanded. It was created after the ease of Prohibition in 1927! OK we have eased into alcohol consumption not being illegal. It should be sold. the government should not be involved in these types of retail endeavors!

  • Typical NDP and how stupid is this. By advertising you are informed of different products etc. A person drinks if they want to and when they want to. Advertising will not encourage me to drink more or less. But will encourage me to try different things. LCBO does a fraction of advertising compared to other private operations in E.U. This is where you are encouraged to buy and consume more. NDP needs a mental health checkup.
